UNity Amidst Diversity

   Unity is strength. . . when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. This is a quote that best descirbes unity and harmony which is shown in the different organizations established with one goal. The best example of this is the United Nations which is a well known organization comprising of diffenrent united countries which aims to harmonize countries in order to  promote love, peace and brotherhood among countries.  

   October is the month which we annually  commemorate the bond which is formed by the different UN countries which are members of the UN organization. This is a month in which we celebrate unity amidst diversity among different nations. Regarding this celebration, different activites where then conducted in order for us to take part in this celebration which is spearheaded by the AP club and its different affiliates. 

   One of the highlight of the celebration is the annual search for the Mr. And Ms. UN which were participated by the selected students which has the beauty and mind to represent their designated UN countries with willingness and passion. Among all the determined contingents, two countries stands out to be the Mr. and Ms. UN 2019. Among the hopefuls, two of them raised their flags higher than the rest. Among all the activities that was conducted during the celebration, it cannot be denied that this was really the one that colored the different flags of the different  countries which was raised proudly by the contestants which aimed to show and deliver a message that we can be as one amidst the differences that we have.

 The world is a place which is very diverse, a place which consist of distinct countries with different beliefs, traditions and cultures. But one thing is for sure, amidst the diversity that we have as citizens from different nations, having unity, harmony and peace are the dream that we all have in common. A dream that will eventually come to reality if we listen, help, accept and love each other whatever skin color you have, beliefs and traditions you believe in life. Now this wouldn't be possible if you don't start to embrace and accept others whatever nationality our country they belong.
