A Quarter that Will Last Forever

   Time flies so fast, four quarters seemsvlime a single blink isn't it?

      This quarter is different from tge previous ones, why? Because this is the time wherein every second is precious and worth a memory. A tine wherein memories flashes from time to time, a time which we remember the smiles, laughters, arguments, tears and bonds that we made together during those past quarters. Aside fron these, this quarter made me realize how those memories became a huge part in my life. I know that this quarter is going to be emotional, yet meaningful. Do you agree? Let us say that you cannot change the fact that this time of the school year is the moment wherein students wishes for more days ahead, more days of happiness and laughter with classmates and friends, am I right? Let us put in mind that farewells doesn't only end with sadness, because as long as we end it with positivity and a fulfilled heart I know that this will be the best! I know that this quarter is hard and tough, but making good memories is the best treasure that we will cherish until the last. Let's fill oir remaining months with love and appreciation. Let us disregard negativity and always remember to be positive.

My Dream: My Calling!

   "Dreams can come true if you work hard to achieve it".

   We all have our own drem which we want to achieve in thw future. A dream which we really want to grab, for this goal of ours is our inspiration to do our fullest best in achieving what we have envision in life. I don't what your dreams are, but let me share mine.... For me my dream is serve my country and its people. For me my passion is service, service to God, service to my homeland, and service to my co-filipinos. My dream is to render service by being a soldier or a doctor. We are all aware that service is not only rendered by said professions that I have stated because service doesn't rely on specific jobs of professions in life. Service can be rendered by anyone... in any age or in any ambition, in fact even a student like me can render service. Why? Because everything thing you do with love and compassion is service. You probably questioned the thing why I wanted to render services, while in fact you can serve in any time and in any state you are in? Let me answer your question with this, " All of us has a calling and purpose, and that calling is our dream or ambition that we want to achieve". God created us with different roles, which is reflected in our ambitions in life because all of us has specific purposes in this world the He created.

   If you dream of something, do not hesitate to grab it, because God had planned that to you, He has a purpose why he had given that dream to you and why you wanted so much to achieve it. 

Just believe and do your best because every dream has a purpose.

A Day to Celebrate!

  A century, a decade and 8 years... this will be the age of our beloved alma mater next month. A day which we celebrate its establishment and foundation. A day which marks the date of birth of our treasured second home.

  March 21, 2020 marks the 118th foundation day of Ilocos Sur National High School. This date marks the most precious day in our school which is filled with different fun-filled activities which makes the annual celebration colorful and festive. On this special day, disregard the paper works and projects.... Because this is the time wherein you must enjoy and relaxe yourself from all the school works that bother's you the most. On the celebration of the school's day of foundation, everyone is filled with joy and excitement and every single student should of course participate, especially in the field demo. The field demo is an annual activity wherein all students from the school starting from grade 7 to 12 prepares their own performance for the demo which is the highlight of tge foundation day celebration. But aside from those activities mentioned the celebration's essence and true signaficance and goal is that, this serves as a platform for students and teachers to recreate, socialize and of course to enjoy and forget the negative vibes from the different school works. And one this is that, this celebration reminds and showcases the things that the school had beeb through throughout the past centuries and decades which we are treasuring.

A Festival of Festivals

"Kannawidan". One word yet rich with culture and history. One word yet serves as the heart of every Ilocano's joy and smiles as the month of February steps in.

As the month of February approaches the whole province couldn't await the excitement which runs inside them. Because February is the month that all Ilocanos are still waiting for, which is the grandest festivity in the province of Iloco Sur, the Kannawidan Festival. This festivity reminds us the things which best describes our province that reflects on our products which ranges in variety of OTOP (One Town One Product), our virtues, and beliefs, and of course our rich history which made our province well-loved and cared. The importance of the said festival is to showcase the wealth of our province in terms of culture and tradition, a platform which provides  the locals and tourists additional information and knowledge about the true essence of this feast.

The feast consists of the most historical festivities all around the province, it is the combination of all festivals in Ilocos Sur which makes i=the festival so grand yet rich and meaningful

Changing doesn't only mean altering what you have in the present for something new, "change" is what you want to achieve in order for you to feel revitalized and renewed without changing the good and positive aspects that you already have in life. Changing is improving, not descending from what you have in the past and present. They say that the only permanent thing in this world is change, yes it's true... but are we always gonna change over and over again without feeling any success and fulfillment among those changes? The true meaning of change is having to leave a good and influential mark to yourself and others. And in order for you to achieve that change, you should start with gaining C. Confidence H. Humility A. good Attitude N. be natural so that you can achieve your G. Goal and to have the opportunity to E. Explore.

Now, are you gonna change to be the better version of yourself or change because you also want to make a difference?
