Diversity of culture, tradition and language. These are the aspects that connects each and every one of us, for these differences serves as a bridge for every Filipinos to unite and harmonize as one.

"Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino". This is the theme for this year's Buwan ng Wika Celebration that shows the importance of harmony besides the differences we have. We Filipinos have our distinctions, and this distinction is identified by the dialect we use. We are using different dialects to communicate in a certain society, and Tagalog, Ilocano, Cebuano and Panggalatok are some examples of dialects that are being used in the Philippines. As the theme for this year's Buwan ng Wika Celebration exemplifies, these dialects shouldn't serve as a barrier for us Filipinos to be as one. We should use these differences that we have in order for us to achieve one of the main desire and goal of every Filipino, and that goal is to have peace, unity and harmony within us whatever tribe you belong, province you live and most importantly whatever dialect you use. The theme makes us realize that even though we have our own distinctions and differences we must learn how to connect with others regardless the differences we have, because the most important thing to put in mind and to put in our hearts is that we Filipinos are connected with each other, connected in a sense that we all live in the so called “Perlas ng Silangan”, our country, our home, the Philippines.

  A country with one goal and aim, and that goal is slowly being achieved. For our differences made us as one.

A Quarter to Remember!

First quarter has really been a blast! I thought that it was already half of the school year because of the different tasks and activities that I had accomplished. But even if that is the case, having to discover new things that made me strong and firm made this quarter memorable.

The different discoveries that I have gained during the first quarter is that "It doesn't matter how you started your journey, because the most important thing in life is how you finished your journey with the different achievements and goals that you had accomplished in life". This quarter made my confidence boost even more because having to express yourself through blogging is one of the main reason in order to develop a more firm foundation of expressing one's thought.

Besides the different discoveries that I have gained, I also encountered different problems, challenges or circumstances. For example is that  having to experience downfalls because of certain mistakes that I had committed. But I addressed and overcame those challenges and circumstances by making it as my fuel to boost up myself in order for me too surpass them and continue living my dreams.

Moving on, I will do my very best in order to be better person in the following quarters. A person that is molded by the different discoveries and challenges that he or she had faced.
