   "Solidarity makes our 

differences and variances unite together."

This is the true meaning and essence of solidarity that have been cherished for years. Every 8th day of September, Vigan City annually celebrates its World Heritage Citites Solidarity Celebration. In this affair, week-long festivities are being conducted and enjoyed by thousands of people including tourists. This celebration aimed to strengthen the pride of the so called Ciudad Fernandina, its HISTORY. 

   The other goal of the celebration is to preserve tge well-loved and cherished Spanish structures and tradings which roots back from the 18th and 19th century.

Various activities and competitions are being conducted during the festivity whih are Parades, Visita Museo ken balabalay, Historia Oral Competition, Traditional Dance Competition to name a few because this celebration is indeed very busy yet colorful and fun. The celebration truly brings back the history of our different tradition and culture. A history that shows the colorful and unfading beauty of our beloved City which is showcased by the different preserved structures and unfading tradition and culture. 

   

  So this festivity exemplifies that solidarity does not only tie us as one, bit solidarity also serves as a key in the preservation of the charm and unique history yet to be told by our city, VIGAN CITY!
